Princess Monique Filmz is a resilient force in storytelling—a television and film director, writer, producer, author, and mentor driven by a mission to awaken voices, amplify dreams, and transform lives through purpose-led creativity. A Cleveland native who rose from modeling and acting to directing primetime television, Princess Monique knows firsthand the power of self-discovery. Her book, Hood to Hollywood: How to Stop Waiting to Be Discovered and Discover Yourself, is both a personal philosophy and a call to action. She is the founder of Princess Filmz Productions, an independent company dedicated to diverse storytelling, and Real Black Unicorns, a nonprofit mentoring the next generation of storytellers—especially women and creatives of color.
